Start with a free diagnostic session. We will assess where you are, identify any gaps, and give you a clear picture of what you need. No obligation to go further, and no fuss.
The process
We've kept it simple. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you get in touch to the point where you have a clear plan of action.
Tell us a little about your organisation and what's prompting your enquiry. It takes around two minutes.
We aim to respond within two working days to arrange a suitable time for your free diagnostic session.
A focused, no-pressure conversation where we assess your current safeguarding arrangements and identify any areas of concern.
We share our findings and outline how TICCS can support you further. You decide what happens next.
Who we work with
Safeguarding looks different depending on your context. We've worked across the public, private, and voluntary sectors — so we understand the pressures, structures, and requirements unique to each.
We understand the unique landscape of statutory safeguarding — inspection pressures, multi-agency working, and the expectations placed on local authority teams.
From small primaries to large universities and multi-academy trusts, we help education settings assess safeguarding cultures and frameworks and guide towards safer education.
Voluntary organisations often carry significant safeguarding responsibilities with limited resources. We help you do more with what you have, and make sure your most vulnerable beneficiaries are protected.
Safeguarding isn't just for the public sector. Businesses with a duty of care — whether through lone working, customer-facing roles, or regulated activities — have important obligations. We'll help you understand yours.

Common questions
The diagnostic session itself is completely free and carries no obligation. If, after the session, you'd like to commission further support from TICCS, whether it be an in-depth review, training, or ongoing consultancy, we'll provide a tailored proposal based on your organisation's size and needs.
We're transparent about costs from the outset and won't push you toward services you don't need.
Absolutely. Everything shared during your diagnostic session is treated in strict confidence. We will never share your details or the contents of your conversation with any third party. Our full data handling practices are set out in our Privacy Policy.
We understand that organisations working with safeguarding are cautious about data, and rightly so. We take that seriously.
As a Scottish based business, we have extensive experience in working in many different sectors all around the country, including local authorities, education, healthcare and more.
As such, distances between us and partners rarely becomes an issue, as we are flexible in our diagnostics and implementations, as well as our effective use of technology to help bridge the physical gap that may exist.
As we want to work with our partners and accommodate for any constraints that may exist, our diagnostic is completely free, and we encourage you to get involved as it is designed to be as flexible as possible and is the best way for us to understand all aspects and factors that may affect your organisation or sector. Therefore, we do not have a rigid blueprint that we expect clients to conform to, as every situation will be entirely different.
Our diagnostics are typically conducted by a qualified TICCS Team Member, who will review current frameworks, practices and even physical locations to determine what the next best approach to your situation will be. This will then be clarified with you, as we work around your preferences and constraints, to come to an agreement of where to go next.
